80s Hitachi Portable with a story...

Post by Jamie » Wed Jan 20, 2016 6:03 pm

Recently, I saw a post online asking if anyone in [Great Yarmouth] still uses B&W TVs? To my surprise someone did, and she has now given up with television alltogether. I jokingly commented on said post, saying i'd happily give her TV a home once she decided to get rid.

Her TV made local news, where some prat identified it as being a "1950s Hitachi". :bbd :bbd :bbd
Anyway, It's now in my workshop with a selection of other portables and it's one more saved from the tip! A nice little story.
