Leader CRT analyser

Post by Doz » Sun Mar 08, 2015 2:39 pm

There's an ex-engineer locally who offered me one of these, as we were talking in the cup-of-tea shop the other evening. Usual broken hinge and catch missing! Seems to work perfectly, unlike the pessimistic B&K!

Made up my own "universal" lead yesterday afternoon from an old relay base.

Good on you! :aad

I recently bought one of these CRT testers, though I have yet to put to the test (no pun intended) the results I'm getting - Mine seems extremely optimistic, with every CRT I've tested thus far, showing better than 80% emission - Even the ones previously tested as completely duff on a B&K! :aaq

I like your home made lead... :aap
