We came across this little workshop tool when we were tidying a draw. We believe it must have belonged to Gills dad as he tinkered with radios as well.
Described as being a combined neon tester and sawtooth generator, it is supposed to be able to be used for Voltage testing, Signal tracing, Polarity and mains testing, Valve testing, Spark plug testing, and a few other uses mentioned in the instructions, see below.

Has anybody used one to good effect?

My dad gave me one in about 1968 i dont know long he had had it before that i never got the sig gen part to work.
