However the cabinet was the so riddled with worm and damp it was the consistency of wet cardboard.
I had visions of making a new cabinet but its a complicated shape and I then like now how no time and few woodworking skills.
I donated the Chassis which was rusty as an anchor but I did get working to a friend who needed the mains transformer which was OK.
Now I just have the dial, It recently made a re-appearance as I started to clear my loft
