The line up is:

DK91
DF91
DL94
DAF91

There's a 'tap'off the LT plug but just to loose wires, any idea what this would be for?

According to this article if we have a good random sample of serial numbers we can estimate how many made. Obviously the accuracy varies with the sample size.

Yes, it's even in same Island and less than 20min from my Brother-in-law.

Also 1/2 to 1/4 the price they can fetch, though still more than I can afford! Eeek! I owe Cathodevisor money, eventually, but my Dad is paying part of that.

So 10 days to 2 weeks we should know the serial number.

Also in transit is a Pioneer. But it might be a Gladstone mains FM Radio in Pioneer box! If so I'll re-home the chassis in an empty Philips Bakelite case and make a replica Pioneer. I have BVWS issue with interior photo.

I hope nothing interesting turns up now till March/April!

Good to hear of another Sky Emperor and better still to hear that it's on its way to a very good home. I've lately unearthed my "other'" example in order that it could donate some bits and pieces to a restoration project, so it's very much a "parts set" now but its serial number may still be of interest: SE 002488.

Hi Michael

I have another Sky Monarch VHF serial number for you not mine this time :qq1

This one is the subject of this thread

The owner has kindly consented to it's serial number joining the database.

The Serial number is V 2373

That's 4 known examples have to get the Radio museum updated as it still says 2 known examples I suspect there are more.

Cheers :aad

Ever Ready Model G, Bakelite table.
G3590
Looks like a D, but B7G instead of Octal. The D looks like a 1939 5318 (Edge connect P8 base)

Ever Ready Skytime portable clock radio. I think they all start SKT2nnnnn so really only five digits?

SKT2072?6
SKT209103
SKT219563

Either they changed mind on which 8 pin DIL IC audio was used or got design wrong. All are cut tracks and jumper wires in that area. Is it the only portable clock radio with PP9? Other makers in mid 1980s did introduce ordinary styled radios with LCD Timers/Clock/Alarm integrated. The Ever Ready seems to use an adapted Alarm Clock and is styled as bedside clock radio rather than a Radio with clock (Sony ICF2001D etc)

My Car Portable has no serial number either (on those it's a paper label on the chassis near the bottom).
Though it does have the licence plate serial number.
