COLLsite

Post by hamid_1 » Tue Apr 15, 2014 12:44 am

http://loreoutlet.dyndns.org/collsite/collsite.html

A website illustrating a huge collection of TV, Video, Audio, test gear, computing, phones and cameras. Mostly items from the 1980s-90s which are not considered valuable yet, but rapidly disappearing. There are some 1960s televisions including a very early colour one, reel to reel video recorders, valve audio receivers and test equipment.

I think the owner of this website may be from the Netherlands. There is certainly a lot of Philips equipment in the collection!

Hopefully the website itself doesn't vanish, Main page "Updated: 28thDecember 2007" and most of the site last updated in 2003.....

Unless he is on subscription it will!
dyndns is ending their free service.

Maybe a wget is required! :)

https://www.gnu.org/s/wget/
Not just Linux but works on Windows too
http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/packages/wget.htm

Do study the command line options so you get the images, links adjusted to be local and not the entire Internet.
