Thought I had dimensions and printable image, but that was a B135

It ought to be linked to here.
http://www.blaukatz.com/tables/layer-ht ... batteries/

But I haven't added it yet.
Connector H, which is the larger valve B4 type plug & socket.

I have photos & images of 5508 and 5507, so I can easily make it up.

The later B141 possibly similar contents but half the LT capacity as the Vidor would be over 250mA LT and the B141 is 125mA balanced for 10mA HT. The B114 (also small connector) is for 250mA but only 67 or 69V HTIf I assume same layer cells and 2 x LT as the B114 that gives me approx size. Or possibly it's exactly half capacity of a B103? So possibly it's 104 x 140 x 80mm (half B103 size)?

What is approximate space?

I presume it is the large Valve B4 connector used by AD3, AD103, B136, B137 (Sky Queen, Model T, Model K, 1939 All dry, Sky Prince, Sky King), not the small 4pin used on Ever Ready B, B2, Sky Baronet, Sky Casket?

It could be almost same size as L5546 (later replaced by smaller L5550 = B148) as that is a compact 7.5V & 90V pack. The 5 x B cells would be replaced by parallel F or D cells.
B148, L5550 = 89 x 89 x70 mm
L5546 = 89 x 89 x 76 mm

So I can make up an L5546 with L5509 and 1.5V text replacing the L5546 and 7.5V text with a B4 connector cut out. 10 x PP3 and an Alkaline D cell will do for filling. (both HT and LT would last maybe 40 hours, original would likely have been 70 hours based on B126 Layer cell life at 10mA, so we can work out how many parallel F or D cells were needed. Two off F cells I think.)

You sure about the DL91? not a DAF91 or DF91?

Just checked.
Even the L5550 is about 5 x B cells + layer cells of a B126, 2 x F cells just about fit instead, which is about the right size. Early 1.5V packs of AD35 type used 2 x G cells, later ones used 2 x D cells as the LT was then 125mA.
I suspect the L5546 was same size as L5509 (One being for Mains/Battery sets and the other earlier one for Battery only use). Very many battery packs are similar sizes.

So L5509 = B125 probably took 2 x F cells and the layer cells used in a B141 or B126.

You can fill it with 10 x Alkaline PP3 (6LR61 = almost 6 x AAAA) and two real F cells from a 996 lantern pack or 1 x Alkaline D cell and 2 x Layer type PP3 (6F22).

Let me know if you want it.
If desired at cost I'll colour laser print it and mount on card, cut and creased ready to assemble. The design of box is two part full height to allow for easy refilling. Or I'll upload the image to print as a 300dpi or 200dpi PNG file.

I'll look this week and if I don't have a mockup case I'll do one that is both compatible with your dimensions and what I know about how the battery packs were made.

I can colour laser print and include card marked up (about £5 inc postage) and/or link to a file on www.blaukatz.com (free)

What's a cheque?

You can pay when I have it. IBAN is best, (except for Americans). Paypal costs more. We can sort it later. PM me your email or use the contact form on www.blaukatz.com and I'll email when I have it.
