Beam indexing CRT.

Post by colly0410 » Sun Dec 06, 2015 2:56 pm

In Practical Television back in the 70's they said that beam indexing tubes were the next big thing & shadowmask tubes would be consigned to the skip. It never happened, they were only used in a few special circumstances. I wonder how things would have evolved if they had took off?

Not, that's the Indextron. One was recently on ebay

which may no longer work
